Hi everyone! I have a stop on the Throwing Heat blog tour. There is a review of the book and a giveaway for you all.

Throwing Heat
Diamonds and Dugouts #3
By: Jennifer Seasons

Blurb
Nightclub manager Leslie Cutter has never been one to back down from a bet. So when Peter Kowalskin, pitcher for the Denver Rush baseball team, bets her that she can’t keep her hands off of him, she’s not about to let the arrogant, sexy playboy win. Especially when the prize could put her business on the map. She’s got this in the bag, just so long as she can stay out of his arms…and his bed.

Peter struck out once before with Leslie, but this bet is sure to be the second chance he’s been waiting for. Determined to stoke the passion he knows is there, he’ll do anything to win - even if it means playing a little dirty.

But as things heat up, this combustible pair will have to decide just how much they’re willing to wager on one another…and on a future that just might last forever.

My Review
Leslie Cutter loves a bet and one that will help her achieve her dream is perfect. The only problem is that she has made a bet to keep her hands off Peter Kowalskin. She has a past with him that makes her want to finish what was started years ago. Peter wants the chance to prove to Leslie he can finish the job. He will do anything to get what he wants even play dirty. The more time the two spend together the more they see they may just need each other more than in just bed. Can they get past the bet and take the step towards becoming more than a fling.

Leslie is a wonderful business woman. She made mistakes in the past but she has moved on from that. She wants to do what she can to get the nightclub for her own and make it well known. She is a very sexy woman who at times can be just one of the guys. She loves being a part of the ball teams extended family. You also get to see how caring she can be and how far she is willing to go to get what she wants. Peter is a sexy ballplayer who is getting close to the age to where he needs to retire. He has feelings for Leslie and has always been attracted to her. He also has some problems he doesn't want anyone to know about. He can be very moody at times and it takes some time for Leslie to bring him out.

I really enjoyed this book. Not just the two main characters but all the characters. You get to see how they all get together with each other and share the joys and sorrows with each other. They may not be blood family but they are close enough. The heat between Peter and Leslie is enough to light up the pages of your book. There is more to them than just heat I will say I got a few laughs out of their antics especially Peter and what he will do to get a date with Leslie. I would have loved to be in that class and that is all I will say about that. Leslie and Peter really have to go and see that they want more than just a fling. You see both of them slowly fall for each other. They have a past but this is the journey of them becoming more. The ending is perfect for this book. I will definitely have to look up the rest of this series and read it. For a fantastic book please pick this one up.
