There are no mulligans in love.

Drew's life just got a whole lot harder. Her relationships are falling apart, her little sister is failing math, and her parents are leaving for Florida to take care of Grandpa. Now not only does she have to play surrogate parent, study to graduate from her last semester of college, and deal with the looming threat of full-on adulthood, she has to do it all while running the family's mini-golf course by herself. Even the upbeat Drew is starting to feel like she just drove her ball down the unfairway.

Her luck takes a turn when she meets Weston, the snarky geometry teacher. He's smart, capable, dependable, and handsome—a real hole in one. But even Weston has a few hazards of his own. Now Drew will have to decide whether his secret is the wedge that drives them apart, or pushes them together.

My Review
Drew is trying to study so she can graduate college, help take care of her sister while her parents are away taking care of her Grandpa and helping run her family's mini-golf business. When her sister starts to fail math she agrees to meet her math teacher. Weston is more than she expected. He is good looking and not much older than she is.. As the two begin to date Drew begins to fall for Weston. Little does she know he has a secret that will test their future.

Drew is smart and has her goals set. She will do anything for her family and loves them very much. She and her little sister might not get along to well but she helps her in anyway she can. Drew doesn't let go very often but is a great character. Weston is the sexy match teacher. He seems sweet and caring and willing to help his student ever how he can. He does have a few secrets he has hidden.

I really enjoyed this story as Drew and Weston were both great characters. I will say I did guess what Weston's secret was but not the whole thing. The two have a great chemistry and while they might not think so they clearly belong together. Drew's sister I enjoyed reading about as I can say she seems to fit the pattern of some teens. She is moody but when she wants to she can be super sweet. The whole cast of characters make this a delight to read. There is love, drama, friendship and so much more wrapped up in this book. I will say I think a few times Drew overreacts but in some ways that made her a little more real. The ending is a perfect fit for the book and I will look forward to more by this author.

Author Info
Crystal Donahue has been fortunate to live all over the US, including but not limited to Arizona, Hawaii, and Georgia but she currently resides near the Iowa/Illinois border with her tornado obsessed son and their mischievous cat, Brownie. She is a procrastinator of epic proportions, finds humor in almost everything, loves sarcasm and loathes washing dishes.

A 2004 graduate of Western Illinois University, Crystal has held several unique jobs including driving a Zamboni and being a relay operator for the hearing and speech impaired. While working as a claims adjuster she realized life is too short not to do something that makes you happy, so she quit her job to go back to school and study nursing. Between work, school, and raising her son she somehow manages to find time to write too, usually to the detriment of her social life. Fortunately her friends and family rock so it isn't much of an issue... yet.
