My Review
Rex lives and breathes the family ranch. Other than his family it is all he cares about. He has always been the one to hold everything in. That all changes when Jade moves back to town. He has always liked her but with their families feuding for years he knows it will never work. Jade has moved back home after a bad breakup. She and Rex butt heads on more than one occasion. They both can't fight what is between them even knowing it will never work because of their families. They will have to figure it out with some help from the past to work things out.

Jade is a vet who believes in more than medicine can help heal an animal. She is good at her job and wants to help all animals. She can be very stubborn and doesn't back down from Rex one bit. Rex is pretty much a rugged rancher who is very sexy. Once he sets his mind to something he doesn't let go of it. He is a hard worker and very loyal to his family. It does cause him some problems at times. These two are good characters apart but together they are wonderful.

I adore this series and always can't wait to pick up the next book and read it. You really get to see these characters and how they interact with each other. The author does a great job with them as you can't help but want them all to be happy. I liked both Rex and Jade as they have like a modern day Hatfield & McCoy thing going on. It isn't their feud but they find themselves tangled up in it. They really don't know for sure what the feud is over. They have some help from the past getting together and working out their feelings. I love that touch the author added as it shows love years later and feels very magical. I liked learning more about Rex's family and I have to say I hope nothing happens to Hope in these books as that horse is very special. If you are looking for a fantastic series about a wonderful family and love grab this series.
