Hi everyone! I have a stop on the Game of Love blog tour today. There is a review of the book and a giveaway.

Game of Love
The Remington’s Book One
By: Melissa Foster

Blurb
Ellie Parker is a master at building walls around her heart. In the twenty-five years she’s been alive, Dex Remington has been the only person who has always believed in her and been there for her. But four years earlier, she came to Dex seeking comfort and then disappeared like a thief in the night, leaving him a broken man.

Dex Remington is one of the top PC game developers in the United States. He’s handsome, smart, and numb. So damn numb that he’s not sure he’ll ever find a reason to feel again.

A chance encounter sparks intense desires in Ellie and Dex. Desires that make her want to run—and make him want to feel. A combination of lust and fear leads these young lovers down a dangerous path. Is it possible to cross a burned bridge, or are they destined to be apart forever?

My Review
Dex may have be one of the top PC game developers in the US but he doesn't have love or any want to hunt for it. He had his heart broke four years ago and he still hasn't got over it. It seems Ellie is always on the run. She ran four years ago from Dex and now she is o the run again from a crazy ex. She hasn't had a good life and her only joy has been Dex. She is afraid to let down the walls around her heart. However when she runs into Dex again she has to rethink the running. She has always cared for him and she wants to get her life straightened out. Ellie will have to learn to let Dex in though and share with him or they may not make it.

Ellie is a good person with great ideas. She wants to help children others may over look. She has had a horrible childhood and she wants to just block it out. She also has been in a bad relationship that didn't end to well. She doesn't want to ask for anything and has pride. I liked her as she has overcome some of her past but she needs to learn to ask for help sometimes. Dex is sexy, rich, and very smart. He may seem to have it all but he has always been protective of Ellie. She broke his heart once and he fears she will do it again. I love Dex. He may love his games but he really believes in education.

I couldn't wait to read this as I am curious about the Remington's.I liked Dex from the start but Ellie had to grow on me. Like Dex I kept thinking she would run at any moment. Dex has always been there for Ellie and I would think she would have reason to trust him but at times she seemed like she didn't. They clearly care for each. Ellie is in danger but afraid to tell anyone because she is afraid to.It takes Dex really pushing her to get her to open up. I have to say Dex's dad is from what I have read about him so far a hard man to get close to. However he won a piece of my heart when he deals with Ellie. He showed what kind of great man he can be. I eagerly look forward to the rest of this series as Dex is an amazing man. He will fight for those he loves and I just know his siblings are going to be just as great.
