My Review

Lane and Gabby go out to celebrate her birthday not realizing everything is about to change. They live together and have been best friends forever. They have trouble getting their girlfriend and boyfriend to understand they are just friends and it causes many problems for them. This is the least of their worries tho as the world seems to go crazy after Gabby's birthday celebration. People are eating other people and they have creepy yellow eyes. Lane and Gabby go to their shop and get all their workers or kids as they call them to come to them so they can protect them. The world is changing fast and the weather is acting up. The clue to what is going on and how to stop it may just be in the hands of one of their kids Max.

There is so many characters you get to know and love in this book. Lane is the type of guy you would want by your side for anything. He is strong, sweet, sexy but you do get to see the vulnerable side of him. Gabby is the sexy, hard worker and soft hearted woman who isn't about to sit down and take anything. Max I just want to take him half the time and give him a hug. The rest of the kids I feel the same way about except maybe one. I didn't like Lizzie. These really aren't kids it is just what Lane and Gabby call them. 

When I started reading this book i thought i will read a few chapters and finish it the next day. I was wrong so wrong. I could not stop reading it. Why because I fell in love with the characters and story. I had to know just what was going to happen to them. The author did a fantastic job writing them in a way that you really got to see a little of all of them and what they were like. I love that!! The other reason is the story. I love any kind of zombie book and yes I find a lot that are different. Well here is another one. These zombies tho they act like zombies really aren't. No I won't say why you just need to read this book but I will say I love the idea of why they became that way. Another reason to pick this book up is Mother Nature is in it. That was a twist I did not see coming. The story is so different from other thins I have read but I loved it all. I would recommend this book to anyone it is so amazing!!! I look forward to reading more books by this author.
