Hi everyone! I have a stop on the Nothing Compares To You blog tour today. There is a review of the book and a giveaway for you all.

Nothing Compares to You
Pine Lake Series Book Two
By: Tiffany Marie

Blurb
Mitch loves everything about his job as a photojournalist––the excitement, the money, the notoriety––which is why he has no plans for a lengthy stay in his childhood hometown of Pine Lake. But when he meets enigmatic single mother Natalie, he can’t help his attraction, or his overwhelming desire to pursue her.

The last few years have taught Natalie she’s stronger than she ever thought. She was strong enough to leave her abusive ex-husband, strong enough to endure a year in a women’s shelter, and strong enough to begin rebuilding her life with her young son. She’s going to make sure she’s also strong enough to avoid future heartbreak, which means not getting close to anyone––especially not someone like Mitch, who doesn’t plan on staying in town for more than a few months. Yet the more time Natalie spends with Mitch, the more her resolve crumbles.

As their tentative friendship develops into a passionate romance, both Mitch and Natalie realize they’re in deeper than they ever intended. When an exciting new job assignment sends Mitch halfway around the world, Natalie is left with the realization that she let the wrong man in once again. And Mitch realizes giving Natalie up for his career was the biggest mistake of his life—and one he might not be able to fix.

My Review
Mitch loves his job. He is a photojournalist who has covered some amazing things. On a break he goes home to Pine Lake. He doesn't' plan on sticking around but his mom  and others think he needs to find love. Natalie is a single mom just trying to get back on her feet and do the right thing. She works hard and doesn't want charity. She left an abusive husband and has no plans to get back in a relationship. When she meets Mitch she knows right away he is not going to stay in town forever. The more they are together the more she falls for him. When Mitch gets called aware he has to decide if his career or Natalie is more important before it's to late.

Natalie is a strong woman. She left a horrible marriage and got back on her feet again trying to make a good life for her and her son. She has some fears left over from her marriage and has self confidence issues. She is a wonderful mother and can be very proud. Mitch is career driven and doesn't like covering happy things but things that make a change in the world. He can be funny at times, very sexy and yet he still shows his romantic side at times with Natalie.  I like seeing him learning to appreciate the small things in life and happy times.

I loved the first book in this series and couldn't wait to read Natalie's story. I love how even when life has gave her a hard time she didn't give up. She is a woman who doesn't want things handed to her but wants to work for them. Mitch and she both don't plan on anything long term but over time they fall for each other even when they don't even realize it. Natalie has to learn not everything is character and to take a chance at love again. Mitch has to see what is really important in life. This is a great story with wonderful characters and really pulls you in. Not just with these characters but all of them. I really hope Becca gets her own story as I am curious about her now. This is a book many will enjoy!
