Big Girl Panties
By: Stephanie Evanovich
Releasing in Print, Jan 21st, 2014

Blurb
In BIG GIRL PANTIES, Evanovich introduces readers to Holly Brennan—a 32-year old grieving widow in need of a change. Having spent too much time mired in sadness and grief-eating, Holly heads out of town to settle her husband’s estate and try to move on. Enter Logan Montgomery—a personal trainer to the country’s most famous professional athletes who also happens to be sitting next to her on the flight home.

Holly’s mortified by the way she’s squeezed into the airplane seat, but as they chat, Logan quickly realizes she has a sharp wit and keen insight—a welcome change from the sexy but superficial women he usually dates. When he impulsively offers to train her at his private gym, Holly surprises even herself and agrees.

Holly discovers she’s a natural athlete, and as her fitness level increases, so does a new found confidence. When Logan finally introduces Holly to his best friends, baseball superstar Chase Walker and his wife Amanda (a feisty curvy woman herself), they instantly see what Logan doesn’t; Holly is knockout. As their smoldering attraction starts to spark in earnest, Holly and Logan will have to decide if their love is for real…or just about looks.

BIG GIRL PANTIES is a fun, sexy, smart, and exceptionally saucy romp—a must-have book for the summer and a debut not to be missed.

My Review
Holly is a widow who has used food to help her deal with her grief. She knows she is over weight and a lot of times will use her weight as a joke. When she gets stuck next to a good looking man on an airplane she doesn't expect him to speak to her let alone offer to train her. Logan like his woman thin and Holly is no where near that. His own thoughts cause him feel guilty so he offers to train and help Holly. He sees she has a great personality and he isn't prepared for when the pounds begin to drop. Holly gets her confidence back and begins to have feelings for Logan. Logan likes Holly for reasons he has no other woman but he has a hard time getting over her not being thin like he is used to. He has to look inside to see what is important because he may just lose her for good.

Holly is a girl woman who has lost her husband and really let her grief keep her in her house. She has gained weight and she feels bad about it but accepts it. She is really funny and most of the time when she is out she doesn't let things get her down. She hardly ever complains and is a hard worker when she puts her mind to it. Logan is a hard character to describe. He is hung up on looks that is for sure.He is a great looking guy who as you get to know more about him you see he is very passionate about his job and he cares about his friends. At times I liked him and sometimes I didn't. I will say he seemed like a real person because of the way he acts sometimes instead of a perfect guy like in some books.

I liked this book as Holly and Logan to me seemed real. Everyone wishes it weren't true but some people do judge others on their looks. Holly knows she is over weight and really she tries to make the best of it. To keep others from making fun of her she sometimes cracks jokes about herself before they can. I can relate to that. She hardly ever complains and tries to see the best. She does have a temper and I was glad to see it come out a few times. Half the time I wanted to smack Logan in this book. He does change but it is a slow go. It was fun seeing him get jealous at times. Both characters change in this book. Holly really gets something she never had a life and Logan sees looks aren't everything. I did laugh a few times while reading this. I look forward to Chase and Amanda's back story as they stole the show a few times and seem interesting.
