Don't Bite The Bridesmaid - Review

Don't Bite the Bridesmaid by Tiffany Allee

Blurb
Alice Shepard needs one thing: a date for her sister's wedding. And not just any date. A hunk who will make her fiancĂ© rue the day he left her for her best friend. Her drop-dead gorgeous neighbor fits the bill—even if he is a bit quirky and never comes out during the day—and Alice has downed just enough appletinis to ask him. But she makes it quite clear that there will be no funny business.

Spending a week on a cruise ship full of humans while sleeping close to his sexy next-door neighbor sounds like a helluva bad idea to vampire Noah Thorpe. But his friends need time to get him out of a shotgun wedding—a vampire bonding that will tie his fate to a female vampire he's never met. And Alice's offer comes at just the right time.

What could possibly go wrong?

My Review
Alice just knows her sexy neighbor is the perfect person to take to her sister's wedding. Her ex will be there and she doesn't want to be seen as a loser. At first Noah doesn't want to go. However he has to get away for a while or be faced with marrying a female vampire. A wedding that would keep him bound forever. He has resisted getting close to Alice as she temps him and he knows he should stay away. Being in close quarters will make it very hard for both of them to keep apart and for Noah to try and keep him being a vampire secret.

Alice is a very charming character. From the first time you meet her you have to laugh. She is basically shy and finds it hard to trust people after what her ex put her through. She finds she needs a little liquid courage to approach her neighbor. I like how she steps up and becomes more braver as time goes by. Noah can seem kind of rude at times but he is doing it to guard his self and to do what is best he thinks. You really get to see him loosen up and become a wonderful character. You get to see how he is someone loving and someone who can be very protective. These are two characters who really grow more as read the book.

I really enjoyed this story. It is a smooth quick read that left me wanting more of these characters. The plot is a good one and I know many people who have had a bad breakup and don't want to be seen as a loser. This book is for everyone but for sure those people. The story just gets better the more you read and you really to see all sides of the characters. You get several laughs in this book and the paranormal aspect is a cute and charming one. Would recommend to anyone wanted a good love story that is lighthearted and fun with a little paranormal thrown in.
