Anything But Sweet Tour - Review

Hi everyone I have a stop on the Anything But Sweet Tour. I have a review of this fascinating book for you all.

Anything But Sweet
Sweet Texas Series
By: Candis Terry
Releasing June 25th, 2013

Blurb
A man who doesn’t like change . . .
The Wilder family is something of a Sweet, TX institution: between their yearly BBQ blow-outs and their Hardware and Feed store, they’re an institution—an institution that ex-marine Reno Wilder has tried to preserve, in honor of his lost loved ones. But it seems like he’s the only one who’s got any respect left for traditions when a new TV makeover show rolls in to renovate Sweet to bring in more tourists. Everyone is pleased except Reno—and this cowboy is determined to keep everything just the way he likes it.

A woman who wants to change everything . . .
Inquisitive. Stubborn. Smart. Drop dead gorgeous. That would be makeover show host and designer, Charlotte Brooks—the woman Reno has declared war against. And yet, he can’t seem to keep away from her, or to get her off his mind. Charlotte isn’t afraid to back down from a challenge—of any kind—and she’s promised to prove to Reno that change can be sexy, hot, and very, very sweet, if Reno and Charli learn to let go of their pasts and grab hold of a future full of promise.

My Review
Reno Wilder does not want to let go of the past. He has lost many love ones and wants to keep everything the same. He does not like change at all. When he hears the town is getting a make over for a tv show all he wants to do is run them out of town. Then he sees the show host Charlotte and even if he is attracted to her he just wants her gone. Charli doesn't want to ruin the town of Sweet she just wants to help it grow. She sets her remodeling sites on Reno's hardware store and she begins to get under his skin. She finds she likes the people in the town and doesn't really want to leave when her job is done. Reno and Charli both have to learn to let go to maybe have a future.

Reno is a man of many colors. He is a cowboy, he runs a hardware and feed store and he does several other things he likes to keep to his self. He is also very sexy, can be moody, but deep down he is one sweet helpful man who is very attached to his past. Charli is headstrong and loves a challenge. She has grown up having to stand up to a stronger man. She is a sexy woman who works hard, likes to get to know people and what they want and she also knows just how far to go. She is very proud as well.

I adore the town of Sweet! It is a small town were everyone knows everyone's business but they all seem to mean well. Everyone helps each other when it is needed and is basically the small town you have always wanted to live in. Besides the main two characters this book is packed full of other people you grow to love as you read. From Reno's mom with her sweet pet, to Reno's brothers who you want to see where they go in life to the people in the town they are all wonderful. I liked the plot and how the story flowed. It moves very smoothly and is very hard to put down. The love story is a good one and seems real. It is not love at first sight and Charli and Reno aren't perfect but they work well together if they both can ever see what is in front of them. This is a book anyone who loves a small town or a great love story will enjoy. I look forward to reading more of the town of Sweet!
