Taste of Romance Tour - Review

Hi everyone! Today I have a stop on the Taste of Romance tour. I have a review of this great book. I have read all three of them and loved them all.

The Cupcake Diaries Book Three: TASTE OF ROMANCE
(Avon Impulse; on-sale May 21st, 2013; e-book ISBN: 9780062242839)

For fans of Debbie Macomber comes Taste of Romance, the third installment in the Cupcake Diaries series. Kimberly Burke has avoided all types of risk since her mother's deadly plane crash—including risky relationships. Seems like everyone is always leaving her behind: her ex-boyfriend, her mother, and now her sister Andi and best friend Rachel—who have each found the man of her dreams. Then she meets Nathaniel when she mistakes his backyard for the new community park. He loves her passion, and when he learns of her wistful desire to travel, he takes her up in a hot air balloon, hoping to overcome her fear of flying so that she can accompany him abroad. But before he leaves, they must catch the Cupcake Bandit and replace the money stolen from Creative Cupcakes before the shop is shut down. Will discovering the thief's identity persuade Kim to take a risk on love ... or will she stay behind and let Nathaniel fly off without her?

My Review
Kim isn't sure if she wants to keep working in Creative Cupcakes with her sister and friend. She is torn between wanting to have an art gallery and the shoppe. She also has always wanted to travel but her fears brought on by her mothers death have left her staying at home. Things are about to get shook up as she meets Nathaniel who she likes immediately. The problem is in the fact Nathaniel isn't from here and she may be saying goodbye to him. That keeps her walls up as she doesn't want to get hurt like she did in her past. Th e shoppe is having it's own problem as well. If the girls can't come up with the money to keep the shoppe open it may shut down for good. A cupcake bandit is making that very hard to do as their cupcakes keep disappearing.  Kim needs to help find the bandit and decide if Creative Cupcakes is what she wants to do. She will have to make some big decisions.

Kim has a thrilling story as the other two girls do. I feel for her several times in this book as it seems everyone around her is in love and has it all. I know she felt lonely and really she has not gotten over her mothers death and yes that is a hard thing to get over. She really has walls built all around her and all you can want is for her to break them down some. Nathaniel is a great character. He is so sweet, romantic and really wants to help Kim get over her fears.

This is the third book in this series and I loved it just as much as the other two. Getting to see inside Kim's head really adds to the series. As now we get to know all three girls really well. I think I felt for Kim most or maybe it is the fact that even if they don't mean to the other girls use her sometimes.  It isn't just the other girls Kim's own dad seems to think she should do what he says and throws it up often that she is the smart one cause she doesn't try. I was glad to see her starting to let go with the help of Nathaniel. I think he is the perfect match for her. The shoppe has a mystery on it's hands this time as well. I loved that addition to the story. As I had my suspicions who the bandit was I still liked the ending very much. The only thing I didn't like about this book is it ended. I want more of these great stories. Well there is one other thing about these books. They make me want a delicious cupcake decorated all fancy. I am going to have to find somewhere that makes them. The story and characters are great and easy to fall in love with. If you want sweet stories be sure to check these books out.
