It's Wait for You as you've never seen it. Trust in Me lets you in on Cam's side of the #1 New York Times bestselling story.
Cameron Hamilton is used to getting what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But when Avery Morgansten comes crashing into his life—literally—he finally meets the one person who can resist his soulful baby blues. But Cam's not ready to give up. He can't get the feisty and intriguing girl out of his head.
Avery has secrets, secrets that keep her from admitting the feelings Cam knows she has for him. Will persistence (and some delicious homemade cookies) help him break down her barriers and gain her trust? Or will he be shut out of Avery's life, losing his first real shot at the kind of love that lasts forever?
My Review
Cam has been the guy to never pass up a party or have trouble with women. When Avery runs into him that all changes. She turns him down at every turn but he doesn't give up he keeps asking her and they become friends. Cam has secrets from Avery that he is afraid to tell her and Avery has some secrets of her own. She is afraid to get close to Cam even when she is falling for him. They both will have to come clean if they are to stand a chance at love.
Cam is so amazing. I love everything about him even his bad past. He is the type of guy who has sowed his wild oats and can commit even if the girl isn't ready. He does everything he can to take care of those he loves and cares about. He can also cook and can be very sweet. Avery in this book seems like a shy moody girl but you can tell she has problems. She will close up in an instant. Both of these characters are amazing and very believable characters. I enjoyed reading about both of them.
To say I loved this book would be putting it mildly. I enjoyed reading this book from Cam's POV as it gives the story a great twist. I think the author did an amazing job writing from a male POV. While some of these secrets were hard to read about it shows you how strong these two really are. I love how even when they would argue he would take the time for Avery. He was also great about not being pushy about some issues. I will not spoil this book but I think everyone need to read it. It touches on hard issues at times and still has that sweet factor to it. This felt like I was reading about real people and I love that. If you haven't read this book or any other book by this author I urge you to do so. You will not regret it.
