My Review
Arran left those he knew and the human who has his heart to go after his former partner and kill him. Even for a vampire this is a dangerous mission as Dead vampires are in the way. Gabrielle the human with his heart is also in the way. She is looking for her missing sister and Arran just wants her safe and away from the danger. That danger includes him as he knows he is no good for her. Gabrielle will let nothing stand in her way including the vampire she loves. Both are headed into a dangerous place where the past may come between them if a vampire doesn't kill them first.
Gabrielle isn't a bit afraid to jump into danger if it means her sister can be found and she can bring her home. She will take Arran's help if he will just see she isn't a coward and can take care of her self. She also love Arran even knowing what he is. She is a strong woman who isn't one to sit on the side lines. Arran is a sexy vampire who holds a lot in. He has done things in the past people hold against him and he likes to put a front up that he doesn't care what others think. He cares for Gabrielle but would rather push her away than be near him and in danger.
I haven't read the first book in this series which I will soon redeem but I love this book and world. There is two different types of vampires in it. One is good and one is evil. I love how the author splits them up. I loved getting into this world and how they all tie in together. There is tons of action after all this is a book with vampires. I love the scenes with Arran and Gabrielle as they have lots of sexual tension between them that you just can't wait for them to act on. I won't give spoilers but the evil ones will stop at nothing to get what they want. I didn't see several things coming and the author does a good job with the surprises. I look forward to what will happen next as I have to know what Gabrielle's sister will do. If you love vampires be sure to pick this up.
