Ghosts of Kingston Cottage - Review

Ghosts of Kingston Cottage by Libby Bishop

Blurb
She believes in ghosts.

Medium and paranormal investigator Arabella Pierce is sent with her crew to Kingston Cottage, a haunted Maine seafarer’s cottage on an isolated island, but for this investigation, her boss has stuck them with skeptical reporter Lucas Brown. Though he’s hot as they come, Arabella can’t trust a man whose sole job is to discredit her and the work she does. Not after what happened with the last few skeptics...

He believes in evidence.

But Lucas isn’t as skeptical as he seems—he wants the truth, no matter what that is. When the ghosts appear, he and Arabella must work together—in tight quarters—to convince the resident ghosts to move on before a storm strands the entire crew on the island. If Arabella can put aside her prejudices, she and Lucas just might have a shot at a lifetime.

My Review
Arabella and her crew are one of the best paranormal investigator teams there is. It is a dream come true when they are sent to Kingston Cottage to investigate the ghost of the island. She has always wanted to go there. The one big problem with the trip is Lucas. Lucas is the reason the get to go but he is a skeptic and a reporter. She has had her share of people trying to discredit her work that even if he is good looking she doesn't want a part of him. Lucas doesn't believe in paranormal things but he does believe in evidence. With a storm coming Lucas and Arabella have to work together to help the ghost on the island move on. They begin to fall for each other but Arabella has to learn that Lucas isn't like others.

Arabella has a gift that she uses for the good to help investigate ghost. She is smart, sexy and hates for people to judge her gift or her team. She doesn't give up easily. Lucas is a non believer but he is the type of person who doesn't make fun of people who do. He is the type that has to try stuff for his self to see if it's real or not. I liked all of the characters in this book.

This is a great short story. The team has to help the ghost of the island move on and the reason she won't move on is a good one. She has her reasons for wanting to stay and the group has to try and convince her why she should go be with her family that has already gone. I like the chemistry between Arabella and Lucas. You can see both want each other but Arabella is fighting it. She has to learn to trust Lucas as she does the rest of her team. This is a short story but doesn't leave anything out. You get to see what is going on and what happens you aren't left with wondering anything. You may be wanting more like I did but that's just because it is so good. If your looking for a story of love, adventure and ghost try this one.
