So I Married a Werewolf : Review

So I Married a Werewolf (Seattle Wolf Pack #3)
by Kristin Miller

Blurb
Carter Griffin, enforcing officer for the Seattle Wolf Pack, has a problem. He's been offered the promotion of his dreams…if he can find a wife to prove he's over his playboy ways. But Carter's already walked the matrimonial road and bought the stinkin' T-shirt. Besides, a werewolf only gets one fated mate. Been there, done that.

All werewolf dog trainer Faith Hamilton wants to do is earn enough green stuff to put her younger brother through college. Okay, okay, so she also totally wants Carter, her sexy next-door neighbor, to look at her as more than a friend. It's too bad size 12 and plain isn't his type. At all.

The two friends strike a deal to help one another out. They must face a variety of challenges from a psycho ex-girlfriend to a Yorkie with a shoe fetish...and that pesky problem of only having one-fated mate in a lifetime. Will a relationship ruin their friendship…or spark a love neither anticipated?

My Review
Years ago Carter got passed up for his dream promotion. Now he has the chance to get it again. The only problem is he has to be married to show he is stable. He was married before and as he knows werewolves only get one fated mate and he had his. His wife cheated on him all the time and made him have a hard time of trusting women again. Faith is one of is best friends and they are together a lot. When she needs help paying for her brother's college they come up with the idea to fake a marriage to help each other. Carter will get his promotion and Faith will get help paying her bother's bill. Should be easy but Faith has always had a crush on Carter and he doesn't find her attractive. She is a dog trainer and has plans for her self. Letting Carter know how she feels are not in those plans. As they fake a relationship they begin to see there may be more but they have a few things in their way. He has an ex that won't give up, Faith has self confidence issues, Carter has trust issues and he just know Faith can't be his true mate as he already had one. They are doomed from the start it seems but sometimes the impossible happens.

Faith can train any dog and is very smart. She was attacked years ago and for the most part she has got over being attacked by a rogue werewolf who changed her life forever. She still has some flashbacks but that is to be expected. She loves and is proud of her brother. She would move mountains to give him what he needs and wants. She is more comfortable in jogging pants and not one for dressing p. She doesn't have the perfect body and she does let that bother her at times. Carter is sexy but he can seem like a jerk at times. His wife killed is trust and scarred him for women. He can also seem fun loving when he and Faith are just hanging out. Another fault he has is jumping to the wrong conclusion. I liked these two as they aren't perfect and it's nice to see characters who are shown to have faults.

One thing I will say about this book and that is you will laugh. It seems like Faith always has something happening around her. A tiny terror of a dog and his uhh quirks had me chuckling. She tries to learn to cook and be the kind of wife Carter needs is another. I know how she felt there. Carter at times I will say I wanted to smack. He was so afraid he spent half the time running from Faith and what he felt. He is a master at pushing people away. I have to say reading about him starting to see Faith in a different light was awesome. She thinks she is over weight and not attractive but that isn't how he sees her. The two have problems they have to work out but it makes the book so wonderful as you can't help but to keep reading to see what these two stubborn werewolves will do next. Recommend to all paranormal lovers out there.
